Machining Stainless Valve Body

Kent Machine (KM) was contracted by a local manufacturer to machine valve bodies from cast iron, stainless steel and bronze castings. We utilized our Leblond Vertical Mill and our Cincinnati Horizontal Mill to machine each valve body. These bodies are all approximately 11.25″ x 12.75″. Tolerances as close as ±.001 were held on the bores.
